No Students to Fail in CBSE Class X Examination

New Delhi, Jan 31: A Big news coming up for the students of class X appearing for the CBSE Board Exam 2021. According to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) new rule, if a student fails in any one of the three elective subjects (Science, Mathematics and Social Science), then the failed subject will be replaced by the 'Skill Subject known as the 6th additional subject. With application to this new rule any students will hardly fail in the CBSE 10th examination. The percentage of class X board exam will be calculated on the best of five subjects. This decision by CBSE is welcomed by students, parents, and teachers alike. Students might have the marks, but they lack the skills to must themselves to proper use. This has also been introduced keeping in mind the government’s Skill India initiative. Students interest in skill based learning has been increasing since after CBSE introduces skill based subjects in the syllabus.

This is also going to help the weak students score more marks in the class X board exams and also help all the students this year who have attend very less classes in the school due to lockdown.

Few days ago, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' had announced that the exam schedule for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams 2021 will be announced by CBSE on February 2 and the exams for class X & XII to be held between May 4 to June 10 and results to be declared by July.
